Notes:A #21 hit for Harold Dorman in 1960 and a #6 smash for Johnny Rivers in 1964. In the second verse, Mike accidentally sings "handy," an amalgamation of "happy" from the first verse and "lonely," the correct lyric.
Session drummer Hal Blaine's presence on the bongos was "essential" for this song.
