Notes:As the B-side of "Surfer Girl", this was chartwise, the Beach Boys' most succesful flipside. It solidified the Beach Boys inroads into music about cars, a subject more universal to the 60's American teenager than surfing. After the success of a compilation album "Shut Down", featuring some Beach Boys' songs, the Beach Boys quickly recorded eight new car songs, in addition to four existing songs, to form the album "Little Deuce Coupe", released just a month after "Surfer Girl."
The car to own in 1963 WAS a Little Deuce Coupe, or more precisely, a 1932 Ford Coupe.

Capitol 5009
B-side with: Surfer Girl
Released on: July 22, 1963
