Notes:Written against the backdrop of Brian losing his mother and Carl, this ballad hearkens this archivist back to the emotional resonance of "Caroline No" or "Til I Die". There is a sense of deep regret but also of a need to find peace. A tremendous song that shows that Brian can still affect our deepest emotions more than 35 years after "The Lonely Sea."
